Located in Cauca, the Municipio de Morales, the Agua Negra reserva is made up of 101 coffee producers belonging to an indigenous ethnic group. With a focus on environmental development programs to mitigate the impact of their coffee producing, Agua Negra farmers have continually improved their quality processes, making for a high-quality indigenous coffee. The soft washed coffees go through an eco beneficio which reduces the amount of water used for the floatation, pulping and fermentation steps in coffee process.
Built into Mozzo’s business model is a fixed social dividend invested directly into our Community2Community Fund™ with all coffee sold. Contributing across the entire Mozzo Coffee range, we solidify our commitment by investing 1p per capsule, 1p per coffee bag and 10p in every kg of roast and ground coffee sold into theFund.
