Cool down with this vibrant Espresso Tonic recipe, made with RISE - our seasonal blend of coffee originating from Peru and Colombia. Follow this easy recipe to make a refreshing Espresso Tonic perfect for the summer.
Step 1
Fill your favourite glass with ice.
Step 2
Fill the glass 3/4 way with Mediterranean Tonic.
Step 3
Add 10ml of Simple Syrup*
Feel free to add more or less depending on your preference.
*This can be pre-bought or homemade (see recipe below).
Step 4
Top with a RISE double espresso.
Our favourite recipe:
- 18g ground coffee
- Brewed to 40 - 45g liquid espresso
- 28 to 32 seconds extraction time
We recommend pouring off a spoon or slowly to avoid excess foam.
Simple Syrup Recipe
Using a 1:1 ratio of granulated sugar and water (preferably filtered), heat the ingredients in a small saucepan at a medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring the sugar until fully dissolved.
Let the syrup cool before using or storing.
