SIP Coffee, save lives

We’re on a mission to raise $80,000 to bring life-saving care to Idjwi Island in the DRC, home of the Rebuild Women’s Hope (RWH) Coffee Cooperative. Together, Mozzo and RWH built the Hospital of Hope in 2020. Now in 2024, we’re taking the next vital step, building and equipping an operating theatre and intensive care unit so even more lives can be saved.

That’s why we’re donating 100% of profits from the entire Rebuild Women’s Hope coffee collection to this project, with a goal to reach $80,000 by April 2026.

We can’t do it alone, but getting involved couldn’t be easier. One way you can help is simply enjoying something you already love – coffee.

prevailing hope

The first baby to be born at the Hospital of Hope, Noella Mweragi is now a healthy little 5-year-old girl, living on Idjwi Island in Eastern DRC. Before Noella, less than 50% of pregnancies on the island made it to successful delivery. Since Noella’s birth, on 26th Dec 2020, over 4,000 other babies have been safely welcomed at the hospital. However, whilst Noella’s birth marked the start of a remarkable mission, it is painfully clear more needs to be done to save lives on the coffee-growing island. That is why we are pledging to expand the critical healthcare provision for the Idjwi Island community.
