Homemade Coffee Ice Cream

Indulge in this homemade Mozzo Coffee Ice Cream, a deliciously sophisticated sweet treat, perfect for a summer evening.

Step 1

Mix all ingredients into a saucepan.

Step 2

Gently warm the mixture over medium heat until lukewarm to help with infusing the coffee flavours (approx. 5 - 10 minutes).

Step 3

Mix thoroughly then strain the mixture with a sieve and discard the grinds.

Step 4

Strain the mixture a second time and decant it into a dish with an airtight lid that is suitable for freezing.

Step 5

Allow the mixture cool, before freezing for approximately 1 - 1.5 hours.
Remove and beat with a whisk or hand mixer.

Step 6

Return to the freezer and repeat the above step (This helps with the texture of the ice cream and makes it easier to scoop).

Step 7

Return to the freezer and remove approximately 5 minutes before serving for easy scooping.
