Step 1
Add 20ml *spice chai syrup to your cup

Pour in a double shot of HOUSE Espresso
Our favourite recipe:
- 18g ground coffee
- Brewed to 40 - 45g liquid espresso
- 26 to 30 seconds extraction time

Homemade Chai Syrup:
If you want to make a batch of homemade chai syrup to enjoy more than once or for a group of friends visiting for a coffee, take a look at our expert tips! Here's how we do it:
Chai syrup ingredients:
- 1.25g Cloves
- 5g Cardamom
- 6.25g Cinnamon
- 1.25g Ginger
- 250g Sugar
- 250g Water
Method
- Weigh out the sugar and water, and add this to a pot to create the syrup.
- Simmer on a medium-low heat to ensure all sugar particles dissolve.
- While the syrup is heating, weigh all dry spices and add them to a spice mill or a pestle and mortar. Grind the spices down.
- Weigh out the ginger and cut it into small pieces.
- Add both the spices and the ginger to the syrup pot.
- Infuse the spices in the hot syrup for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and cool.
- Filter the chai syrup to remove any large pieces of pieces.
- Add to your favourite cup.
