ABOUT THE GROWERS

Coope Terrazu, Costa Rica

This year our Christmas coffee collection comes to you exclusively from Coope Tarrazu in Costa Rica. These charismatic coffees, both San Lorenzo (natural) and San Francisco (washed), contribute to the Casas De Alegria project. Launched in 2019, the project aims to provide better living conditions for agricultural migrant workers and their children. The casas (houses) prevent child labour and safeguard against risks by providing dignified care, nutrition and recreation for the children aged 3 months to 11 years, whilst their parents work in the coffee farms.
