Mozzo has pledged to raise $60,000 to fund the expansion of Matumaini (meaning “Hope” in Swahili) Hospital on Idjwi Island, Eastern DRC. Together with Rebuild Women’s Hope (RWH) coffee cooperative, we built the original hospital back in 2020. Aiming to raise the new target amount through donating 100% of profits from our single-origin range of Rebuild Women’s Hope coffee, the money will pay for the build of the first-ever intensive care unit as well as a crucial operating theatre.
Launching on March 8th, International Women’s Day, the special single origin collection will feature espresso, filter ground and whole beans, Nespresso-compatible 100% recyclable coffee pods as well as brew-in-cup coffee bags.
Our partnership with Rebuild Women’s Hope goes beyond business, it is friendship. A friendship facilitated by the support of our community of customers and coffee lovers.
